Prayer is a gift of God, and the one who prays seems blessed by the Father and in life-giving communication with Him. We have to make ourselves worthy of such a gift and use it with responsibility. This is especially true of the Liturgy of the Hours, the prayer par excellence of the Church, in which the voice of each one who prays becomes the voice of the Church, the voice of Christ.
